Yi (CII) Siliguri Celebrated ‘WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY’ Yesterday

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 6^th June, 2017: Young Indians (Yi) Siliguri Chapter is an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized the World Environment Day yesterday with the theme of ‘Plants Trees Keep Environment Clean’, by distributing 1000 nos. of Tulsi Saplings at City Centre Mall.

Mr. Yogesh Pradhan, Senior Manager, City Centre Mall, Ambuja Realty Development Ltd. said on this occasion “We all know the importance of environment in our lives and to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. All the living beings in the world altogether depend on one another. The condition of our environment is getting declined day by day because of the pollution and global warming. We should celebrate and promote eco-friendly development in our country in order to save the environment for better future”. The celebration was followed by distributing Tulsi Saplings. Mr. Piyush Garg, Co-Chair, Yi Siliguri Chapter along with Yi members attended the program.
